The air is getting colder, the holidays are near. So let us spend some time with those we hold so dear! And this is what we exactly did today at Study Hall Prep School.
Thank you Mommies for making this day memorable. It would not have been possible without your help.
Lucknow: Study Hall Prep organized its annual concert at the Sant Gadge Auditorium on 27th November, where children conveyed a powerful message of collective and environmental consciousness through their stellar performances. The theme of the concert was Ferris Wheel of World Dances.
The event began with a warm welcome from the Headmistress, Rachna Sinha, who expressed her gratitude to the children and staff for their hard work in preparing for the concert. “Our children have shared the message that their dream is to envision a world where people are connected through music and dance, transcending all linguistic, geographical, and cultural barriers,” said Sinha, highlighting the core message conveyed through their spectacular performances. Meenakshi Bahadur, Principal Study Hall, welcomed the parents.
The students performed dances from across the world, showcasing how they are actively working as a team to keep their wheel turning happily. Various dance forms, such as Salsa, Persian, French, Ghoomar, blend of Indian and Western classical, were performed. Through these performances, the children communicated that joyfulness is the essence of life, and that music, dance, and celebrations unite us all.
Meenakshi Shah, Vice Principal of Study Hall, expressed her gratitude and pride in the students and teachers for their hard work and the insightful message delivered through their performances. The concert ended on a high note with a grand finale and the National Anthem.
The event was a great success, underscoring the importance of teaching children about unity in diversity. Each “cabin” of the Ferris wheel represented different countries with linguistic differences, but shared the common goal of joyfulness, inspiring all to work together for a better world. The performance reminded us that when we come together and set aside our differences, the world becomes richer and brighter.
A school picnic is a day of relaxation, fun, and bonding. It allows children to enjoy time away from their usual classroom environment. These outings promote teamwork, social interaction, and physical activity, providing an opportunity for children to build stronger relationships with their peers and teachers. That is what our children experienced today. Happy learning Preppies. You are knowing and growing everyday.
Study Hall Prep school organised Grandparents’ Day themed on Rights and Duties – A Rock Fest on August 13th. This fun-filled event was a unique blend of music, learning, and family bonding, focusing on the importance of rights and duties of the Preppies.
The Rockfest brought together children and their grandparents, for a day of lively performances, that highlight the rights and responsibilities we all share. With a special emphasis on the role grandparents play in guiding and nurturing young minds, the event promised to be both entertaining and enlightening.
Children performed songs, dances and skit that creatively express their understanding of rights and duties, with special performances dedicated to their beloved grandparents also. Kids and Grandmothers rocked out together, celebrating the joy of music and movement.
“Rights and duties are fundamental concepts that our children need to understand from a young age,” said Ms. Rachna Sinha Head of the Study Hall Prep unit. “This event is a perfect opportunity to make learning fun and to honour the vital role grandparents play in passing down these important values.”
Study Hall Prep unit is dedicated to providing a nurturing and educational environment where young children can learn and grow. Through creative activities and community involvement, we strive to instill core values such as respect, responsibility, and the importance of family.
Today is a very special day called Earth Day! It’s a day where we all say a big ‘Thank you’ to our planet. We thank Earth for giving us trees, animals, oceans, and so much more. Our children learned the importance of the three R’s. What activities done by us makes the Earth happy or sad. Our nursery children made a nature’s bracelet. They also raised their hands to keep our Earth cleaner and greener. Let’s take care of our planet every day, not just today. Happy Earth Day, everyone! Let’s make our Earth smile!
Hurray we are creating waves. The Pool is on. Happy Summers. Today children took a dive with friends into the pool for fun and fitness and created waves together.
