The 73rd Republic Day was celebrated on the 26th of January, 2022 by the children of Study Hall Junior School with great enthusiasm. On the occasion, the students of classes 4 and 5 conducted an engaging panel discussion on “What is the key to the lost glory of India?” highlighting the importance of Democracy. We are proud to mention here that the children put in a lot of hard work to make the panel discussion fruitful and engaging.
The program began with a prayer, followed by the unfurling of our National Flag by our dear Urvashi Aunty.
Headmistress of Study Hall Junior School, Bani aunty gave a welcome speech and led the audience to take a pledge to be true citizens of our beloved country. This was followed by a mesmerizing patriotic song by the children.
The discussion on the Indian constitution encapsulated a lively exchange of views on our fundamental rights and duties as citizens. The panellists, who were students of the Junior school and the Prerna Girls School, contributed to the discussion with their thoughts and ideas on diversity, gender discrimination, equality and justice for all. It was eye-opening to see the students discuss these subjects with awareness and depth, at such a tender age.
Bani aunty concluded the program by blessing the children and encouraging them to do their bit as responsible citizens and take the country to greater heights.
