The Indo Tibetan Border Police Force, organized a spectacular flag hoisting ceremony in Study Hall School as a part of the Har Ghar Tiranga and Azaadi ka Amrut Mahotsav celebration to mark 75 years of Indian independence. The air was festive in the campus with the tricolour flags and balloons fluttering away in the breeze.
The program was successful in instilling patriotic feelings amongst the staff and students.
It was a well coordinated event and the students sang patriotic songs with great zeal along with the army band. The whole school reverberated with the energetic and tuneful rendition of patriotic songs. The display of weaponry caught the attention of the young students and the little ones from all grades were both excited and awed
The DIG, ITBP ( IPS) spoke on the occasion and exhorted the students to be good citizens.
The CEO and founder of SHEF- Dr Urvashi Sahni saluted the role of the army in guarding our borders and thanked the army men for their selfless service.
The school principal Mrs Meenakshi Bahadur also addressed the gathering and stressed the role of students in the creation of a powerful nation.
The event will be etched in our mind for a long time to come.
