The Study Hall Educational Foundation organised the” Artsy August” event in the month of August 2021. It was conducted under the banner of the British Council project on climate change. In the four live eco-art sessions that we successfully conducted on 5th,12th,19th,and 26th August 2021, over 100 participants learnt different techniques and mediums of painting and craft using waste products . The artsy skills enabled them to change plastic and other waste material into pieces of art to bring forward their different ideas and expressions. The resource person for the event was Ms Satya Singh , Phd in fine arts and the event was co-ordinated by Ms. Arunima Trivedi . This competition acted as a medium for the children (including students from international institutions) to channelise their inner artist and view waste material from a different perspective, especially from a perspective of transformation towards sustainability. The students were further encouraged by awarding the best art pieces. These awards were presented by Ms. Meenakshi Bahadur, Principal Study Hall and Ms. Meenakshi Shah, Vice Principal Study Hall .
