World Radio day is celebrated on 13th of February. Study hall Junior school had a special assembly regarding this.
The grade 3 children and the teachers put up a little skit to make children understand the importance of Radio. Then Mukta auntie showed them a video giving a tour of Akashvani Lucknow . After that children were made to understand, how
the voice from the Studio of the radio station reaches the radio and the transistors. Children got to see different type of transistors. They were told about different professions associated with Radio. The children learnt a few exercises to relax their jaw muscles and be able to speak clearly and loudly.
The assembly concluded with a thought provoking question as to How is radio the theatre of mind?
