Study Hall Prep School Hosts Sports Day Celebrating India’s Knowledge System

Lucknow: Study Hall Prep School celebrated its annual Sports Day “Tracks, Tunes & Indie Boons!” today, with the theme centred on the Indian Knowledge System, highlighting movement, rhythm, balance, and joyful learning inspired by India’s rich traditions.

The event featured charming performances and races by the youngest learners, including Nanhi Awazon ka Swagat, Tiny Twirl, Chota Bhangra Blast, Wiggle Giggle Yoga, Indie Stick Sprint, and a lively finale titled Ruby Jubilee marking 40 years of Study Hall.

Rachna Sinha, Headmistress, Study Hall Prep, said “Through this year’s theme, the Indian Knowledge System, our children explored movement and joy in ways that are deeply rooted in our culture. Sports Day is always about confidence, creativity, and celebrating childhood.”

Dr. Urvashi Sahni, Founder & CEO, Study Hall Educational Foundation, said “For four decades, we have been reimagining what education can and should be. Our goal has always been to transform education in a way that shapes not only learning outcomes but life outcomes as well — ensuring that every child develops confidence, agency, and a sense of purpose. At Study Hall, we have always believed that academic rigour and joyful learning go hand in hand. When children learn with curiosity, happiness, and emotional safety, they excel — not only in academics but as whole human beings. At Study Hall Prep, our focus on strong foundations and early childhood development reflects this philosophy, ensuring that our youngest learners begin their journey with joy, resilience, and a sense of wonder.”

The event brought together students, parents, and teachers in a vibrant celebration of physical expression, community, and the wisdom of India’s learning traditions.
