Mission

SHEF will transform formal and informal learning spaces to empower educators and students, educating them for gender equality and social justice to make them active democratic citizens and caring changemakers.It will:

• Shape and scale innovative curricula, pedagogy and technology for democratic citizenship education foregrounding gender equality and social justice
• Seed and strengthen educators, students and champions of democratic citizenship education/gender equality and social justice
• Script democratic citizenship education, foregrounding gender equality and social justice, into the government education and other learning ecosystems.
