At Study Hall, activities are truly co-curricular in nature. All activities are deeply knitted into the fabric of the curriculum in each grade. Various concepts in all subjects are largely taught through various activities. Concerts, our biennial school functions, are always organized with a social theme in mind.
Study Hall strives to nurture soft skills in children and enable them to pursue their dreams. It also provides a suitable platform to students to showcase their talent in limitless fields.
There is no formal individual assessment, and the lack of it has never hampered or hindered the pursuit of excellence by any one of our students. They work on projects instead of individual assessments, and these projects culminate in a performance and display of their scrap files and Art and Craft work. Children are empowered; their confidence level rises, and unafraid of embarrassment in front of their teachers, classmates or parents, they perform unabashedly and with great ease.
We conduct regular tests for continuous and comprehensive evaluation throughout the year, along with a half-yearly examination at the end of the term in September and a final examination in February/March. Activities, projects and informal evaluations are also carried out simultaneously.
We conduct regular tests throughout the year, supplemented with activities, projects and informal evaluations, so that students always feel prepared and unafraid to take on the challenge of their first Board exams. Half-yearly examinations take place in September, followed by two Pre-Board examinations November onwards.
We conduct regular tests for continuous evaluation, with two examinations held at the end of each term—the Half-yearly and Final Examinations. For the senior-most class, we conduct two Pre-Board examinations in addition to the Half-yearly Examination. Students enrolled with the Study Hall Center for Learning can opt for Humanities or Commerce as their stream of study and can appear for examinations for their X or XII recognised certifications through the NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) Board.
