Special Visit by Bank Officials On Labour Day
On the occasion of Labour Day, the Commerce Department took a thoughtful initiative by organizing a special visit by bank officials for the Class IV employees of the institution. The objective was to assist the support staff—fondly referred to as Didi and Bhaiya—in opening recurring deposit accounts in the bank.
This initiative aimed to instill a habit of saving among the support staff, thereby empowering them to accumulate funds that could support them during times of financial need.
The students of the Commerce stream played an active role in the entire process. Alongside the bank officials, they guided and supported the employees through the formalities involved in opening the accounts. This collaborative effort not only promoted financial literacy and inclusion but also strengthened the bond between students and support staff.
The department’s initiative was widely appreciated and served as a meaningful way to celebrate Labour Day by acknowledging the contributions of the institution’s essential workforce.
