EK SHAAM MAUSIQI KE NAAM

“Parents and teachers need to work together to bring about the holistic development of the children. We at Study Hall not only work for the growth of our children but also for the personal flourishing of our associated Parents”, said Dr. Urvashi Sahni while inaugurating the event ” Ek Shaam Mausiqi Ke Naam”, at Study Hall School on 23rd April, 2023.

The Mothers’ committee of the school in association with Mr. Bhartendu Kashyap, Mrs. Rana Khan and Mrs. Sameera organised the event not only to highlight the Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb but also to provide a stage to the parents to showcase their talents, to set an example for the children to go beyond their comfort zone to achieve what is impossible.

The spectrum of gender equality was reflected by the efforts put in by the Father community too. Mr. David George, Mr. Azeem mersmerised the audience with their presentations while Dr. Biju Bhagwati , the classical Indian music teacher created an atmosphere of enthusiasm and rapture.

When the reigns of organising the show lay in the hands of mothers, females had to be the show stoppers! Mrs Payal Mall David, Mrs. Stuti Srivastava and Ms. Anushri , the nightingales of Study Hall proved that music is in their blood. The audience couldn’t stop themselves from grooving to the Sufiana tunes of Mrs. Payal Dhanani.

Mrs. Padma Gidwani, with her lovely, rich, luscious voice inspired every single soul sitting in the audience. Mrs. Padma Gidwani is a famous and loved singer at Aakashwani and Doordarshan, Lucknow.

Dr. Biju Bhagwati, Mr. Sarthak George and Mr. Sarthak Dubey stood as pillars of support for all the presenters with their musical instruments. Mrs. Twinkle was inspired too, to present her talent on stage.

Mrs. Meenakshi Bahadur, principal Study Hall School truly appreciated the participation of the parents by complementing “Bahut sukoon mila jo aapne hame apna samjha.” It has been with her efforts and motivation that the bond between the school and the parents has been strengthened.
