The children of class 4 and 5 of Study Hall Junior school engaged in a Panel Discussion on Friday 1^st March’24.The topic for the discussion was ‘Our Rights and Responsibilities go Hand in Hand’. Our Principal Mrs. Meenakshi Bahadur, Mrs. Meenakshi Shah and our Headmistress Mrs. Bani Malhotra welcomed the grandparent and parents who had come as guest panelists. We all had a great time listening to enthusiastic panelists eager to share their views with everyone. They were well aware of their Rights and Responsibilities at school, home, in their neighborhood and as future citizens of the country.

Mrs. Ruchi Bhateja, Mrs. Deepti Sahai and Mrs. Deeba H. Waziri were the moderators of the event. The enthusiasm showed by the children was clearly evident as the discussion progressed. Their inputs were truly thought provoking. We are sure that our passionate speakers will go a long way in becoming responsible citizens well aware of their Responsibilities and Rights.

The World Television Day which falls on 16^th November every year, was celebrated by the children of Junior School, Study Hall with great enthusiasm. A Special Assembly was conducted by the students of Class 5, highlighting the importance of the power of this great invention. We are proud to mention here that the children put in a lot of hard work to make this Assembly a resounding success.

The programme began with a prayer which was followed by a playlet on the theme, ‘Television – Then and Now’. A few children delivered speeches highlighting the importance of the television in our daily lives. The poem Television, written by Roald Dahl was recited by the children. A Power Point Presentation made by the children, on several interesting facts about the invention of the television was played. 

The highlight of the programme was the Talk Show in which the parents and grandparents interacted with the children. They were filled with nostalgia as they took us down the memory lane, back to their childhood before the television had been invented. They were delighted to share their words of wisdom with the children.

The programme concluded by our Headmistress, Bani Aunty reminding the children to watch the television for a limited period of time and also to choose the content wisely.

The children of Class 4 conducted an interactive assembly to celebrate the World Rivers Day. They were divided into groups and the students used the stage and the volleyball court as their canvas to draw the journey of River Ganga from its source, the Gangotri glacier till it falls into the Bay of Bengal forming the Sunderban Delta. The children marked the important cities on the banks of River Ganga and the states it passes through. They also shared some interesting facts about the River Ganga. They discussed the ills of Water Pollution and suggested remedies to save our rivers. The students of class 1-5 enthusiastically answered the questions asked by the students of class 4.
Later, the children of Class 4 visited all the classes in the junior school and shared some interesting information about the rivers of the world. All the students drew pictures of rivers and life in and around them, in their Art files.
In the end, the students wrote a pledge on how they would save the rivers.

All the roads in Lucknow led to Study Hall School Fete on 17th February, 2024. Embracing the warmth, brightness and joy of “YELLOW”, it was true Basant- the spring season radiating positivity to all.

The fete is organised every year not only for the entertainment but also to raise funds for Prerna -the NGO.

The festooned stalls, the savory food, the tattoo creation, the dj floor and the most loved Juke Box gripped the students for hours. The talent show gave a stage to the parents and children to showcase their flair for music and dance. The most exciting feature of the fete was the lucky draw and the luckiest winners were  Mrs. Preeti Singh, Mrs. Anshu and Mrs. Vandana.

The day came to an end leaving behind memories of fun, excitement and wait for another year!

Students of class 11 conducted a Special Assembly for the Class 12 outgoing batch of 2023-24 on Tuesday, 7th Feb 2024.
It was a short and sweet presentation in which some students sang a group song and some read inspiring quotes for the emotional audience.

Class Teachers of class 12 addressed their respective student groups, giving them advice and blessings for a successful future.
Some students of class 12 were given the opportunity to share their experiences at school and convey their feelings at this momentous and solemn occasion.

It was an emotional event that evoked a sense of nostalgia among the 12th graders, many of whom were teary eyed by the end of it.

Class XI teachers and students of Study Hall hosted a grand farewell for the outgoing 2023-24 batch of class XII students on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, in the school campus. It was an afternoon of mixed emotions for all who were present to witness the official send off to the senior most class. The young ladies glowed in colourful sarees, whereas the boys carried themselves smartly in formal suits. The rich and melodious performances were a visual treat and enthralled the audience. The students of class XI presented a token of love to their seniors. The programme concluded with some emotional speeches by the twelfth graders through which they expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards their beloved teachers and the institution. One student each from the four sections of class XII was selected as the STAR ICON …..Yashba Ali from XII A, Taqdees Imadi from XII B, Riddhi Pandey from XII C and Avani Adukia from XII D. Zoha Azeem from XII D and Kovid Tyagi from XII A were chosen as the TITANS OF TOMORROW. The students relived their nostalgic moments by clicking photographs around the majestic school building where they had spent their childhood.

The students of class 9 were taken to the 15th edition of Sanatkada Festival held at Safed Baradari in Quaiserbagh on 6th February.
The Festival is a celebration of the rich ,pluralistic and vivid culture of Lucknow.
While the day was unusually cold and foggy,the atmosphere at Baradari was charged with warmth and bonhomie.There was a display of varied items ranging from handicrafts, carpets , ehnic wears to exotic jewellery.
The students enjoyed an engaging story-telling session which left them hugely captivated.
The food arena was equally alluring,with some delectable platter to tickle the taste buds .Students made a beeline at these food joints to savour the mouthwatering dishes.
They were taken around by the staff and were also briefed about the history of the festival and also about Lucknow’s rich cultural legacy.
Overall,it was an enriching and enlightening experience for the students and they cherished the moments thoroughly

Christmas was celebrated by the children of Study Hall Junior School with great enthusiasm.
There was joy and festivity in the air as they enjoyed singing the Christmas carols during a Special Assembly.
Santa Claus added to the cheer by blessing the children.
The children experienced the Joy of Giving as they came forward to share their story books with their friends from Gyan Setu.

The children of Study Hall Junior School enthralled the audience on the 16th of December, with their Field Day KALEIDOSCOPE held at the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan.
The young ones of classes 1 to 5 took us back to our childhood as they presented a delightful melange of drills, races, song and dance which was greatly enjoyed by the audience.
